Your Reiki session
Your session is time just for you. When you arrive, you’ll be given time to settle into the space and breathe out the day. Remaining fully clothed, you can sit or lie down under a warm blanket. Reiki can be offered with a light touch or hands held just above the body. You choose whichever feels most comfortable for you, and both are equally effective.
Your first session will usually take around two hours. This gives you time to arrive, receive healing and ease back into the world gently afterwards. Some people like to spend a little time in the Walled Garden and Nostell grounds after their session. We highly recommend taking a short walk or simply sitting quietly for a while before heading home.

£60.00 for 90 minutes.
The Sanctuary is yours alone during your appointment, so you never feel rushed. Your first Reiki session is around two hours. Follow-up sessions are usually 90 minutes, and we can take more time if you need it.

Reiki is a Japanese healing practice developed in the early 1900s by Mikao Usui. It works with the body’s natural energy and is often translated as “spiritually guided life force energy”. Reiki can sit alongside other wellbeing practices and is suitable for anyone who feels drawn to try it.
